privacy policy.

What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. We describe it plainly because you should know exactly what happens on our pages.

version 1.3 · effective October 24, 2026

01who we are

This policy covers the AERINO Labs website, operated by AERINO LABS LLC, [Mailing address for legal notices].

02information you give us

  • Your researcher attestation at the verification gate: your confirmation that you are 21 or older and buying for in vitro research only, with the date and time and the version of our Terms in force.
  • Your acceptance of our Terms of Sale & Use, Shipping, Refund and Research Use policies and this Privacy Policy at checkout, recorded with your order, the document versions and the date and time.
  • Order details: name, email, institution or company, purchase order number, shipping address, notes and order history.
  • Account details if you create an account: your email, name, institution, default shipping address and email preferences. Sign in uses a one time code; we store only a salted hash of the code, for ten minutes.
  • Anything you send through our contact, quote, custom synthesis or wholesale account application forms, and your email if you join research updates.

03information collected automatically

  • The cookies and browser storage described in Section 6.
  • Your IP address, used briefly to limit repeated requests and protect the Site from abuse.
  • A one way cryptographic hash of your IP address and browser details, stored with your gate attestation to detect abuse of the verification gate. We keep the hash, not the address or browser details themselves.
  • Signals that Cloudflare Turnstile reads from your browser to tell people from bots at the verification gate, processed by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy and the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum (cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy).

04what we do not collect

We never collect card or bank details on our Site. Payment happens on our payment provider's secure pages, under its own privacy practices.

We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags or third party analytics, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross site advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before it happens.

05how we use information

  • To verify eligibility and enforce the research use only conditions of sale.
  • To process, ship and support your orders and communicate with you about them, including payment links, shipping updates and tracking.
  • To keep records of attestations and agreements for compliance, audit and legal defense.
  • To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, chargebacks, diversion and misuse.
  • To send research updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To run, secure and improve the Site, and to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

06cookies and browser storage

We use only what the Site needs to work. Blocking these will stop the catalog, cart or checkout from working.

  • Verification cookie (30 days): remembers that you passed the researcher gate.
  • Sign in cookies: a short lived cookie while you enter your code, then a signed session cookie for 30 days if you sign in.
  • Language cookie: remembers English or Spanish.
  • Browser storage on your device only: your cart, a first order code you received, and whether you have already seen the first order offer.

07who we share information with

  • Service providers that run parts of the Site for us under contract, such as hosting, database storage, email delivery, bot protection, abuse prevention and our payment provider. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
  • Government authorities or others when the law requires it, in response to valid legal process, or when needed to protect our rights, our safety or the safety of others, including to report suspected diversion of research materials.
  • A successor company in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets.

08how long we keep information

After these periods we delete or anonymize the information, unless the law requires longer or it is subject to a legal hold.

  • Orders, and the record of the Terms you accepted with them: at least six years from the order date, to defend legal claims and show compliance with research use only conditions.
  • Gate attestation records: at least six years.
  • Tax and financial records: at least seven years.
  • Account details: while your account is open, then as needed under the periods above.
  • Research updates: until you unsubscribe.
  • Abuse prevention data: only as long as needed for that purpose.

09your choices

Whether or not a particular privacy law applies to us, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and send you a copy, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your information. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Deletion has limits: we keep order records, attestations, records of accepted Terms and tax records for the periods in Section 8, because we need them to meet legal obligations and defend legal claims. When we cannot delete something, we will tell you why. Every research update email includes an unsubscribe link.

10how to make a request

Email support@aerinolabs.com and tell us what you are asking for, with the email or order number linked to your records. We take reasonable steps to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and may decline a request we cannot verify.

11security

We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit, signed and tamper proof cookies, rate limits and strict limits on internal access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.

12age requirement

The Site is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

13where information is processed

We serve customers in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States.

14changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes apply going forward from the new version's effective date, shown with its version number at the top of this page. We keep every past version and will provide it on request.
