01our commitment

We build this site to work with a keyboard alone, with screen readers, with zoom and magnification, on small and large screens, and with motion turned down. We treat a reported barrier as a defect to fix, not a request.

02standard and status

We measure the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The site is partially conformant: most of it meets that standard and some parts do not yet. We have not been certified by an outside party.

03what the site does today

• Every page starts with a skip to content link and uses named landmarks for navigation.
• Every control can be reached and used from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced to screen readers.
• Decorative images and icons are hidden from assistive technology; meaningful images have text alternatives.
• Each page declares its language, and the whole site is available in English and Spanish.
• When your device asks for reduced motion, animations and movement are switched off.
• Layouts are tested from 320 pixel wide phones to large desktops, with tap targets sized for touch.

04known limitations

• White text on our gold buttons does not yet meet the WCAG contrast ratio for small text. We use bold capital letters to help, and we are reviewing the button colors.
• Certificates of analysis are issued by an independent laboratory as PDF documents, which may not be fully readable by screen readers. The lot, size, purity and test date are published as text on each product page, and we will send the full results in plain text on request.
• Ordering requires JavaScript. If that stops you, contact us and we will take your order directly.
• Payment takes place on our payment provider's pages, which we do not control. If you meet a barrier there, tell us and we will find another way to complete your order.
• The verification gate uses an automated bot check from Cloudflare. If it blocks you, contact us.

05how we assess

This statement is based on our own evaluation: automated accessibility testing with Google Lighthouse, keyboard only testing and review of the page code. It is not based on a third party audit, and we say so plainly so you know what it rests on.

06tell us about a barrier

If anything on this site blocks you, email support@aerinolabs.com. It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do and the browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five business days, and we will get you the information or complete your order another way while we fix the problem.

07reviews and changes

We review this statement when the site changes significantly and when a reported barrier is fixed. The version and effective date at the top of this page show the current statement.
